The Broker - What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
